Job Responsibilities
The Company Secretary (CS) will:
- Report directly to the Board of Directors
- Ensure the organization’s compliance with legal, corporate, and regulatory frameworks
- Act as the key liaison for governance and shareholder matters
- Draft Board agendas, resolutions, statutory reports, and disclosures
- Implement best practices in governance and company law compliance
Eligibility Criteria
Academic Qualifications:
- Member of a recognized body of professional accountants; OR
- Member of a recognized body of corporate/chartered secretaries; OR
- Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Commerce, or Law from an HEC-recognized institution
Experience:
- Retired government officer in BPS-18 or higher with at least 15 years of service; OR
- At least 5 years of full-time experience as Company Secretary in a public or private organization
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Companies Act, SECP regulations, corporate governance
- Proficiency in board documentation, resolutions, statutory reports
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and handle confidential matters with discretion
