The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), Government of Pakistan, has announced a golden opportunity for Pakistani nationals through the latest recruitment of Sub-Inspector (BPS-14) positions. These vacancies are available under the Pakistan Customs Department across various regions including Quetta, Gaddani, and Indus Collectorates. Eligibility Criteria

To apply for the position of Sub-Inspector (equivalent to JCO) under Pakistan Customs, candidates must fulfill the following educational and physical requirements:

Educational Qualification:

  • A 2nd Class or Grade ‘C’ Bachelor’s Degree from an HEC-recognized university.

  • Acceptable subjects include:

    • Economics

    • Commerce

    • Statistics

    • Accounting

    • Computer Science

    • Law

    • Pharmacy

    • Chemistry

    • Physics

    • Engineering (in any discipline)

Applicants must ensure their degree includes at least one of the above subjects.

Minimum Physical Standards

Note: Retired personnel from the Pakistan Armed Forces with a JCO rank are eligible to apply under Section 226 of the Customs Act, 1969.

Age Limit & Relaxation

The prescribed age limit for Sub-Inspector posts is:

  • Minimum Age: 18 years

  • Maximum Age (with relaxation): 30 years (including 5 years general relaxation)

Additional age relaxations are granted to specific categories of applicants:

    No travel or daily allowance will be provided for test/interview.
